A 4 year college degree is required and at least 3 years of prior sales experience is a must. The Flanders Group offers an attractive base salary plus commission and a generous benefits package. Workers Compensation Injury Manager
As a Workers Compensation Injury Manager you will be responsible for communicating with the Employer, the Injured Worker, their Medical Provider and the Insurance Carrier through the life cycle of the Lost Time claims assigned to you.
Responsibilities include: claim setup in our software program, follow-up on various documents from Employers and Medical providers, checking claims reserves and payment status with the Insurance Carrier, monitoring medical treatment, providing Employer with status reports and finally monitoring the claim through closure with the Insurance Carrier. Customer service is a key responsibility, which includes prompt contact and timely return of all calls
To be considered for this position:
• 4 yr college degree is preferred
• Workers’ Compensation experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office knowledge required
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment as a highly motivated self starter
• Enthusiasm to work in a team environment and build technical expertise by collaborating with others on difficult cases as well as documenting and improving our processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent internal and external customer service including experience in using diplomacy and tact to effectively avoid or diffuse high-tension situations.
