A New Claim Cost Study

By December 11, 2012August 22nd, 2018

A new study published by The National Council on Compensation Insurance finds that the number of work comp claims with a co morbidity diagnosis (claims where multiple medical conditions appear together) almost tripled from 2.4% to 6.6% from 2000-2009.  These claims are important to your workers compensation program because the average cost is about double.  You can read the study here.

Remember the best way to combat these rising work comp claim costs is to support wellness and health in your workplace.  For more information, call The Flanders Group at 800-462-6435.
